Iron Man Armor is an arc-powered sophisticated high-tech armored battlesuit designed and built by Tony Stark. The known wearers are Tony Stark and James Rhodes. Their hero names are Iron Man and War Machine.

The armors Tony Stark created are very unique and powerful. Each of them has different purpose in the field.

Mark I Armor: First shown in "Ultron-5" and in "Ultron Imperative". The first Iron Man armor created by Tony Stark designed to fight enemies with new improvised weapons. It was very useful since all of Tony's armors were hacked and controlled by Ultron while the Mark I wasn't since it has no computer systems in it. It was destroyed by Ultron. It was later rebuilt, possibly with some new computer systems.

Mark II Armor: First shown in "Ultron Imperative",

this is the second Iron Man armor created by Tony Stark, replacing the Mark I armor. It is less bulky but more powerful than the first one, though it still has the grey coloring of that model. It was hacked by Ultron to attack the Avengers, but was later destroyed by Thor. It was rebuilt after that.

Mark III Armor (Classic Armor): First shown in "Ultron Imperative" and in "The Private War of Doom".

This is the third Iron Man armor created by Tony Stark to fight foes armed with hi-tech weapons. It has got the best weapons and flight technology compared to the previous models. When Ultron took control all of the armors, it was among them fighting the Avengers. It was destroyed by Black Panther's vibranium weapons. It was later rebuilt after that. It was then used by Tony to fight Doctor Doom, Lucia von Bardas, and Doombots in CastleDoom.

Silver Centurion/Mark V Armor: First Shown in "Ultron Imperative",

this new armor created by Tony Stark has more powerful repulsor weapons  fast flight. Unlike that last model (and most of those after it) this armor has a red and silver color scheme. It can also transform itself into a suitcase. It was hacked and controlled by Ultron to destroy the Avengers, though it was destroyed by Thor. It was then later rebuilt.

Mark VI Armor: This is the first suit shown in the series.

Tony always used the armor on missions fighting villains with the Avengers. When Ultron take control of all his armors, it was among them being controlled fighting the Avengers but it was destroyed in the process. It was later rebuilt.

Mark VII Armor: This armor was shown in "The Breakout Pt. 2", in "Gamma World Pt.1 and 2", and in "Masters of Evil".

A new type of armor created by Tony Stark is designed to have the best armor protection and advanced weapons systems ever to combat other foes that have his tech. It was used by Iron Man to fight Graviton in Manhattan after his Mark VI armor was badly damaged. Tony then used the armor to protect himself from the Gamma Dome as with the other Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents wearing gamma immune suits on a mission to stop the Leader and other villains inside the Cube which damaged this armor in the process. He later used it against the Masters of Evil in a battle at the Avengers Mansion. It is unknown if it was controlled by Ultron to destroy the Avengers or just left alone

Mark VIII Armor: This armor was shown in "This Hostage Earth".

A new type of armor created by Tony Stark designed to have the best weapons and advanced tech to combat villians. It has the same body type of the Mark 6 & 7 armors. It was used by Iron Man to fight the Living Laser over the Norm Stone, but it was then destroyed when the Norm Stone exploded and teleported him to one of the nine realms of Asgard, only his left repulsor remained intact until broken by Loki's monster, Ulik. It might have possibly been rebuilt.

Hulkbuster Armor: This armor was first shown fighting Wonder Man in "Everything is Wonderful" and in "Ultron Imperative".

This armor was created by Tony Stark to fight the Hulk in case he ever went "wild", along with other big or powerful foes that were too complicated for him to defeat. The armor was destroyed during a fight between Iron Man and Wonder Man and was later rebuilt. Then it was hacked and controlled by Ultron to destroy the Avengers and was obliterated by Thor's lightning strike. It was rebuilt after Ultron's defeat. Iron Man used the rebuilt armor to stop the Hulk after the latter went out of control.

Space Armor: This armor was first shown fighting Kang in "The Kang Dynasty".

This armor was created by Tony Stark to both explore and survive in outer space. The Space Armor's weapons are more powerful than that of the other models. Iron Man also made space armors for the Avengers with the exception of the Hulk, who only needs new strecthable pants and an oxygen mask, and Black Panther, who was in Wakanda, defending his homeland against Kang's forces. It is unknown if the Space Armor was hacked and controlled by Ultron or was ignored.

Stealth Armor: First shown in Ultron Imperative

A stealth armor created by Tony Stark designed to become invisible and undetectable from the naked eye unless seen by sensory equipment. The Stealth Armor has some sneaky weapons and other new tricks aside from stealth. It was controlled by Ultron since it was hacked. The armor was destroyed by Thor's lightning strike. It might have been possibly rebuilt.

Uru Armor: First Shown in A Day Unlike Any Other

A new type of armor created by Tony Stark with a little help from the dwarven blacksmith king, Etrie. This armor has properties of Thor's hammer and a body type and mask of the Destroyer, guardian of Asgard's weapons vault that holds ancient Asgardian weapons. It was designed for Iron Man to combat immortal beings who were hostile to Earth.

This armor is a heavily armed version created by Tony Stark possibly based on the Mark II armor to fight enemies who were too armored and/or armed for him to fight. Tony personally gave it to his best friend Rhodey since he knows how to handle it and has military experience.

Artic Armor: First Shown in "Casket of Ancient Winters"

This armor was created by Tony Stark in order to withstand the most extreme cold and combat ice villains. It has a grey and white color and its repulsors, uni-beam, and shields are of a red color. It was used by Tony to fight Malekith the Accursed who unleashed the Casket of Ancient Winters on Earth with Thor and Black Panther. It is unknown if Ultron took control of it or left it alone.
