Biography
The Breakout
When the Breakout happened at the Cube, The Vault, and The Big House, Quartermain reported the event to Nick Fury.[1] After Graviton was defeated by Thor, Ant-Man, Wasp, Iron Man and Hulk, Quartermain took control and surrounded them with the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to secure the Hulk. He stopped when Fury ordered him to stand down. Later, Quartermain received the file report of the Breakout and reported to Fury that Graviton was not the cause of the incident.[2]
Physical Appearance
Clay Quartermain is a caucasian male with blond hair and blue eyes. He wears a standard S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform.[3]
Personality
Clay is a truly loyal captain to Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. He'll do anything to keep the organization up and running.[1] He has a dry sense of humor and a strong country accent.
Powers and Abilities
Quartermain is well-trained in handling weapons, and has a military background. His skills have earned him a place as a captain of S.H.I.E.L.D. under Director Fury.[1]
Equipment
He wields a S.H.I.E.L.D. issue plasma pistol, automatic rifle, etc.[1]
